CENTURY EXTRUSION WINS 2006 SAFETY AWARD

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. – Century Extrusion has exceeded national safety standards to receive a Special Recognition award from the Society of Plastics Industry, Inc., for 2006.

Century Extrusion, a division of Waterloo, Iowa-based CPM, is a worldwide leader in twin-screw extrusion technologies. The company demonstrates its commitment to safety with monthly safety team meetings, a safety administrator, a safety

coordinator and key safety measurables. In addition, technical advisers are assigned to supervise safety implementation and training in each manufacturing cell.

The Special Recognition Award acknowledges Century Extrusion as a plant with above-average safety performance, which is better than the national average for their Standard Industrial Classification code for 2006.
