Extricom joins the CPM Extrusion Group
CPM Holdings Inc. (CPM) is excited to announce the acquisition of Extricom Blach Extruder & Components in Lauffen, Germany.
Extricom is a leading supplier of twin screw extruder replacement parts and is the inventor of the innovative RingExtruder, a multi-screw extruder developed to compound high-viscosity materials. Extricom will join Century Extrusion and Ruiya Extrusion as part of the CPM Extrusion Group.
"The CPM Extrusion Group has continuously grown to meet the needs of our global customers. This acquisition establishes a major European base and grows our product portfolio to serve new markets and customers throughout the world," said CPM Extrusion Group President Bob Urtel.

The CPM Extrusion Group has locations in the United States, Germany, and China. With the addition of Extricom, it will provide customers with an extensive compounding product offering, including three levels of twin screw extruders, the RingExtruder, and aftermarket parts and services. The addition will also expand the group’s world-class process and application development capabilities to serve a wide array of users.

The acquisition will significantly expand CPM's portfolio of compounding equipment, replacement parts, and services. The CPM Extrusion Group offers sales, service, manufacturing, and process technology centers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.

Extricom GmbH will be renamed to Extricom Extrusion. With over 30 years of expertise in extrusion systems, Extricom Extrusion is a complete supplier of compounding lines, replacement parts, and service-integrating design, production, assembly, service, laboratory research, and administration from its headquarters in Lauffen, Germany. While CPM is investing resources in all aspects of the business, the personnel will remain the same.
